With more than 20 years of experience in remote recording, the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra regularly works with composers, producers and creative teams around the world, across a wide range of musical styles.
If you cannot join us in Bratislava, you can still take an active part in your session. Listen to a professional-quality audio feed from our control room, watch the orchestra perform and communicate directly with the conductor and recording engineer.
Discuss interpretations, request adjustments and review takes as the session progresses. Our team keeps you involved in the musical decisions, with the same collaborative approach you would experience in person.
You do not need to purchase specialist software. A stable internet connection and a wired Ethernet connection are all you need to get started, and we’ll guide you through the connection process before your session.
Your recordings will be available within 2 hours of the session.

How do I connect to the session?
We use Source-Connect for remote recording sessions, with access provided at no additional cost to our clients. Our team will send you the connection instructions and help you prepare before the recording.
Can I speak directly to the conductor and recording engineer?
Yes. You can discuss the interpretation, request changes and review takes directly with the conductor and recording engineer throughout the session.
Will I be able to see the orchestra?
Yes. A live video feed allows you to watch the orchestra during the recording and follow the session as it happens.
Do I need to purchase any software?
No. You do not need to purchase specialist software to participate. We’ll explain any setup requirements in advance and help you get connected.
Do I need a special internet connection?
A stable standard broadband connection is generally sufficient. Please use a wired Ethernet connection rather than Wi-Fi for a more reliable connection throughout the session.
When will I receive my recordings?
Your recordings will be available within 24 hours of the session, ready for the next stage of your production.
